Class Descriptions

Vinyasa Flow

This all-level Vinyasa Yoga is a dynamic and flowing style of hatha yoga that links breath and movement through a creative series of postures that balance strength and flexibility while cultivating mindfulness through a continuous flow.   Modifications are offered to meet you wherever you are.

Slow Flow

All-level Slow Flow Vinyasa Yoga is a slower pace class, mindfully moving and breathing while holding poses longer.  Slow Flow is great for all levels including beginners or anyone looking for therapeutic benefits of yoga.

Restore and Reset

This class involves stretching, sitting, and standing poses to aid the body in releasing stress-related patterns of tension that can lead to limited movement, and bring the body back towards its natural state of balance.

You will learn basic postures, how to connect breath to movement, and how to embrace slow movements. This practice is accessible for all abilities and for anyone who desires more silence, stillness, and deep relaxation.

Sunrise Flow

Start your day off right with a morning Vinyasa Flow practice. This class incorporates simple flowing sequences to warm up your body, as well as slower-paced movements focusing on alignment, strength, balance, and flexibility.

Kundalini Yoga

Harmonize and energize your mind, body and spirit with Sunrise Kundalini!

You will be introduced to the foundational principles of Kundalini Yoga, incorporating breathwork, gentle asana, mantra chanting, and mudra postures for hands with an awareness of energetic pathways within and around the body.

Evening Flow

Ideal for anyone looking to unwind at the end of the day with dynamic movement and creative postures designed to ease tension in both body and mind. An emphasis on finding moments of stillness between breath-guided movement will cultivate mindfulness while building strength and flexibility. 

The last 10 minutes will be dedicated to an extended guided meditation, including a singing bowl/gong sound bath & lavender cloth aromatherapy to ready the body for an evening of rejuvenating rest and relaxation.  

Warm Yoga

All-level vinyasa yoga flow class in a warmer studio. A dynamic and flowing style of hatha yoga that links breath and movement through a creative series of postures that balance strength and flexibility while cultivating mindfulness through a continuous flow.  The warmth helps to detoxify the body and improve flexibility.   

Recovery Yoga

Recovery Yoga is an all-level trauma-informed gentle yoga class that provides instruction on deep breathing, meditation, and physical yoga postures. Each class will feature a different theme from yogic philosophy that relates to recovery. We embrace SAMHSA’s definition of recovery “a process of change through which individuals improve their health and wellness, live self-directed lives, and strive to reach their full potential”. All are welcome!
